a kiriban is the best thing ever for someone who can't draw. it means that if you catch (as in, screenshot) a person's profile with some significant number of pageviews (ie, 10000, 66666, 12345, 200000, a million, etc.) and provide the screenshot to the artist whose pagecount hit that number, they draw you a free request. I totally am not making this up. =Gold-Seven introduced me to the concept, although I've yet to catch one of hers. usually artists will announce they are offering such a thing, but I've found that if you catch it and send it in whether they've announced an upcoming kiriban or not, artists will usually be nice and do something. ~scottblairart sent me prints because he's much too busy to do kiribans, for instance. but, yeah. I realised that this was a good way to get art from my favorite artists, just by being alert to it. so. occasionally I go trolling through my watchlist to see if anyone's about to hit a significant figure. paying special attention to those who I like the best. such as yourself, *GnomeLiberator, ~charter-magic (I caught one from her!), etc etc etc.

too bad that *mikemayhew and *AdamHughes are so insanely busy they probably wouldn't even send prints if I caught one of theirs...
